The Value

a

Problem

Unfortunately, socio-economic factors hinder the opportunities pupils are exposed to and thereby limits their confidence and aspirations to apply for admission in the world’s top universities. Various UK governments have long been trying to deliver on their levelling up promises. We contribute to this mission.

Solution

Our solution is premised on the belief that every child deserves to feel they can and should strive to a world-class higher education. To have the confidence and opportunity to target the best universities is a fundamental way to level up in society.

How does it work?

Our program entails having schools, their staff, and students complete an online and a residential programme in Oxford or Cambridge. While the residential part offers exposure to a real University live-in experience for young children, our online portal complements by offering a channel for skills enhancement and knowledge sharing. The two components, online and physical, together set us apart from other certification or accreditation schemes currently available for schools.
When students visit Oxford or Cambridge for the residential component, tutors who are members of the respective University will ‘assess’ the skills gained from use of the online system and offer advanced, in-person feedback. The tutorials along with evidence from the use of the online resources will factor into the award of the Oxford Minds certificate to the attending school.
We require the submission of documentation and evidence that demonstrates meeting criteria for the different levels of the award.
